Charlie Mulgrew ruled out for Scotland through injury

Mulgrew ruled out for Scotland

Charlie Mulgrew has been ruled out of the Scotland squad to face Serbia on Saturday with an Achillies tendon injury.

The 26-year-old has continued to struggle with the injury that he picked up in Celtic's 2-2 draw with Hibernian last weekend.

Bristol City's Ricky Foster has been called up to the squad as his replacement.

Scotland are already without Steven Whittaker, Phil Bardsley, Danny Fox and Russell Martin for the games against Serbia and Macedonia.
