Scotland manager Craig Levein says that he will learn whether he is keeping his job before next Tuesday.

Scotland manager Craig Levein is expecting to learn next week whether he will be keeping his job.

The former Dundee United boss has faced mounting pressure with his side bottom of their World Cup qualifying group, but has vowed to give his all while still in the role.

Levein recently met with Scottish football executives Stewart Regan and Campbell Ogilvie and is expecting to learn his fate before next Tuesday.

"I had a chat with Stewart Regan and Campbell Olgilvie and I'll find out one way or the other early next week," Sky Sports News quotes Levein as saying.

"The squad for the Luxembourg game will be named on Tuesday and there will be an announcement before then.

"I'm hugely proud to be Scotland manager and want to continue doing the job."

Scotland, who are without a win in their World Cup qualifying campaign, travel to Luxembourg on November 14 for their final competitive international of 2012.
