Half-Time Report: USA hold Scotland

USA have held Scotland a goalless draw at half time in an international friendly at Hampden Park tonight.

The hosts, who go in search of a third straight victory for the first time since 2007, came close to opening the scoring as early as the third minute, with Steven Fletcher's right-footed effort sailing narrowly wide.

Gordon Strachan's men enjoyed much of the possession but struggled in their attempts to break the deadlock, with Celtic's Charlie Mulgrew also going close from a free kick.
