Scotland's Alan Hutton: 'Ireland's Robbie Keane will give us a tough test'

Hutton: 'Keane will give us a tough test'

Scotland defender Alan Hutton has said that he and his teammates need to be wary of a fired-up Robbie Keane when they face the Republic of Ireland on Saturday.

The two nations go head to head in a crucial Group D Euro 2016 qualifier in Dublin.

Keane was named among the substitutes for November's 1-0 win for Scotland at Hampden Park, but Hutton believes that his former Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa teammate will be raring to go on Saturday.

"He's up there as one of the best I've played with," The Express quotes Hutton as saying. "You know what you're getting and he's had a great goalscoring career. I'm sure he'll gives us a tough test but hopefully we can match up to it.

"His movement is very good. You turn your back and he knows where to go. That's experience for you. He's in the right place at the right time. He's still loving playing football and I'm sure he'll be up for it."

Keane is Ireland's record goalscorer with 65 goals to his name.
