Schalke 04 midfielder Julian Draxler has revealed that he rejected the advances of more than one Premier League club during the summer.
Draxler was linked with Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea during different stages of the transfer window, while Real Madrid were also widely reported to have courted the German starlet.
He told BBC Sport: "There were offers from England, but I stayed because I was certain to play in World Cup year.
"However, you never know what will happen in the future. I have my favourite team [in England], but I am at Schalke and I don't want to talk about other clubs.
"If I state it's Arsenal or Manchester United, then maybe I'll be reading it in the newspapers tomorrow."
The Royal Blues have Draxler under contract until 2017, with the playmaker due to face one of his potential suitors this evening when Chelsea meet Schalke in the Champions League.
