Kurt Zouma: 'I will never play for Lyon'

Saint-Etienne centre-back Kurt Zouma has ruled out any prospect of playing for Les Verts' arch rivals Lyon in the future.

A number of clubs across Europe have been linked with the highly-rated 18-year-old but he has vowed that the Stade de Gerland is one stadium he will never call home.

"I could not play for that team, even if they offered me £15m a year," he told Vert Foot.

"If I went to Lyon I feel I would be betraying Saint-Etienne and its fans."

Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid have all been credited with an interest in the French Under-21 international.
