Sports Mole previews Group D's contest between Romania and the Netherlands with both sides vying for the top spot in their World Cup qualifying campaign.

Romania and the Netherlands will be fighting for top spot in Group D tomorrow night as both sides sit in the table with nine points in their 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Louis van Gaal's side managed to secure a comfortable 3-0 victory over Andorra last week but they're likely to face a tougher test against Romania.

The home side are expected to field Gheorghe Grozav following his strike against Turkey last week alongside Bogdan Stancu up front.

Meanwhile, the Dutch outfit could opt for Manchester United forward Robin van Persie over Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, while Rafael van der Vaart and Nigel de Jong are expected to line the three-man midfield alongside Kevin Strootman.
