Roma reject Manchester City's Erik Lamela bid?

Roma have rejected a £17m bid from Manchester City for Argentine forward Erik Lamela, according to reports.

The 21-year-old, who has scored 15 goals in 29 Serie A appearances, is also believed to be of interest to Manchester United.

However, it is the Citizens who have made the first move, according to Italian TV channel Mediaset.

Lamela, who has one cap for his country, joined the Giallorossi from River Plate two years ago.
