Roma are reportedly considering a part-exchange offer from Brazilian club Flamengo for defender Juan.
The 33-year-old began his career with the Rio de Janeiro side and they are said to be interested in bringing him back to Estadio Olimpico Joao Havelange.
Flamengo have offered 19-year-old Thomas Jaguaribe Bedinelli on loan with an £6.5m option to buy the striker as part of the proposed deal, according to O'Globo.
Juan, who has been capped 82 times by Brazil, made 16 Serie A appearances this season.
