Trouble disrupts Roma friendly

Trouble disrupted Roma's latest win of a successful tour of North America on Friday against El Salvador.

Roma's 2-1 victory was only part of the story, with a red card and missiles from the crowd creating a tense atmosphere at the Red Bull Arena.

The match was marred by three incidents, including Panagiotis Tachtsidis tangling with a Salvadoran defender to bring on the game's second shower of objects from the stands.

Tachtsidis was sent off and was incensed as he was struck by a missile from the crowd.

Pablo Osvaldo and Bojan Krkcic scored the goals for the Serie A side to ensure that Roma finish their three-game tour of North America unbeaten.
