Team News: Marcelo returns for Real Madrid

Marcelo has been included in the Real Madrid starting lineup for tonight's Champions League clash away at Roma.

The left-back had been expected to be sidelined until early next month with the shoulder injury that he sustained during the recent 2-1 win over Granada.

However, he has recovered ahead of schedule to take his place in the side at the expense of fellow Brazilian Danilo.

That is the only change that head coach Zinedine Zidane has opted to make, with Gareth Bale still sidelined by a muscular complaint.

As for the hosting Italians, Stephan El Shaarawy is among the starting XI following his recent loan arrival from AC Milan.
