Team News: Richard Dunne receives first start for Republic of Ireland since Euro 2012

Richard Dunne gets his first start since Euro 2012 as Giovanni Trapattoni names his Republic of Ireland team to face Sweden tomorrow.

Giovanni Trapattoni has named his starting XI to face Sweden tomorrow, with Richard Dunne receiving his first start since Euro 2012.

The Queens Park Rangers defender missed last season due to injury, but he will make his competitive appearance alongside John O'Shea tomorrow.

Robbie Keane returns to captain the side, with new Everton signing James McCarthy chosen in midfield for the World Cup qualifier.

Shane Long is also given a starting spot up front in the team following his failed deadline-day move from West Bromwich Albion to Hull City.

Ireland are currently level on points with Sweden and Austria in the World Cup group, with Trapattoni's side sitting in fourth place.

Northern Ireland XI: Forde; Coleman, O'Shea, Dunne, Wilson; McCarthy, Whelan, McClean, Walters; Keane, Long
