Half-Time Report: Ireland holding Poland in Poznan

Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland hold Poland to a goalless first half in Poznan.

The Republic of Ireland are still yet to concede a goal under Martin O'Neill's stewardship.

The Greens have now gone 212 minutes since their defence was breached after holding Poland to a goalless first half in Poznan.

Poland have offered very little going forward so far and star man Robert Lewandowski has been controlled well by centre-back duo Marc Wilson and Sean St. Ledger, who was replaced by John O'Shea just before the break after suffering a muscular injury.

The best chance of the half fell to Irish full-back Stephen Kelly, who headed just over from a corner kick.
