David Moyes plays down Inigo Martinez, Liverpool talk

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has insisted that he is not prepared to sell Inigo Martinez to Liverpool this summer.

Martinez, 23, has been strongly linked with a move away from Sociedad in the last couple of transfer windows, and Liverpool are said to be preparing a move for the defender.

However, Moyes has played down the speculation.

"Do you think I would want to sell him to Liverpool? We've not had any contact and it's pure speculation," the Scot told talkSPORT.

Martinez came through the youth system at Sociedad.
