Imanol Agirretxe signs new Real Sociedad deal

Spanish striker Imanol Agirretxe has signed a new long-term contract with Real Sociedad.

The 29-year-old joined Sociedad's youth academy in 2003 and has scored 75 goals in 260 appearances for the Basque outfit, including 13 in 16 matches last term.

A number of clubs have previously been linked with a move for the striker, but that speculation will now come to an end after Agirretxe penned a contract extension until the summer of 2020.

The former Spain youth international has hit double figures in three of his last five seasons in the Sociedad first team.
