Real Sociedad through to the quarter-finals

Real Sociedad have beaten Villarreal 1-0 in the second leg of their Copa del Rey tie to squeeze through to the quarter-finals

Javier Ros's goal on 32 minutes gave the visitors the win as they went through following the goalless draw at Anoeta last week.

Villarreal thought that they had evened the game up just after the hour mark but Mateo Musacchio was in an offside position as the Yellow Submarine converted from a corner kick.

The home side missed another chance to level things with 15 minutes to go, as Jeremy Perbet squandered a penalty after Enaut Zubikarai was judged to have handled it inside the area.
