Ronaldo won't rule out a move away from Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo admits that he could leave Real Madrid in the future.

Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to rule out a move away from Real Madrid in the future.

The 26-year-old moved to Madrid for a world record £80m from Manchester United two years ago.

Ronaldo had cited his lifelong ambition to play for Madrid as his reason for wanting to leave Old Trafford but has now admitted that he would be open to a move away from Madrid in the future.

"I am still not finished in the world of football," said Ronaldo. "I am Portuguese and I love my land and people but I am not sure if I will finish my career there.

"I never close the doors to any league or any club but for now I am happy in Madrid. In the future, you never know."

Ronaldo scored a controversial penalty to give Real a 4-2 win over Getafe in La Liga on Saturday, extending his goalscoring record to 72 goals in 67 starts for the Spanish club.
