Aston Villa are one of three clubs to have shown an interest in signing Real Madrid forward Jese, according to reports in Spain.
Inter Milan and Napoli have shown the most interest in signing the 22-year-old, according to Spanish outlet AS, but it is also claimed that Villa made enquiries as to the player's availability in August.
Former Spain Under-21 player Jese has struggled to pick up game time under Rafael Benitez, making just three La Liga appearances without a goal or assist this season.
The player's agent this week claimed that Jese must play more, having become frustrated with just over 130 minutes of game time this season.
