Team News: Isco makes Real Madrid debut

Isco will make his Real Madrid debut in their opening La Liga encounter with Real Betis.

Spanish international Isco has been chosen to make his debut for Real Madrid in tonight's La Liga clash with Real Betis.

The 21-year-old, who arrived from Malaga in the summer, will start in a familiar lineup spearheaded by Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Full-back Daniel Carvajal starts in defence for Los Blancos after his successful one-year spell in the Bundesliga with Bayer Levekusen.

There are no surprises in Pepe Mel's starting XI, with Damien Perquis once again proving his fitness to be named in defence.

Madrid: Diego Lopez, Marcelo, Pepe, Ramos, Carvajal, Khedira, Modric, Ozil, Isco, Ronaldo, Benzema

Betis: Andersen, Chica, Perquis, Paulao, Nacho, Matilla, Nosa, Verdu, Juanfran, Cedrick, Molina
