Team News: Gareth Bale makes Bernabeu debut for Real Madrid

Real Madrid give Gareth Bale a full home debut in this afternoon's clash with Getafe, as Carlo Ancelotti rotates his star-studded squad.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has recalled Gareth Bale to the starting XI for this evening's clash with Getafe, handing the Welshman a home debut.

Bale returns after dropping to the bench for Tuesday's 6-1 win over Galataaray, with Isco going to the bench.

Angel di Maria keeps his place in a potent Madrid attack also featuring Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Portuguese marksman most likely to shift inside.

Diego Lopez is back in goal ahead of Iker Casillas, who hurt his ribs against Galatasaray, while Nacho Fernandez and Asier Illarramendi are also given a chance to impress from the start.

Getafe stick with Miku in a lone front role following his brace against Osasuna last week, with Alvaro Arroyo recalled in defence.

Real Madrid: Lopez; Carvajal, Pepe, Nacho, Arbeloa; Illarramendi, Khedira; Bale, Di Maria, Ronaldo; Benzema

Getafe: Moya; Arroyo, Lisandro, Alexis, Escudero; Michel, Mosquera; Leon, Lafita, Diego Castro; Miku
