Zidane hints at possible interest in Juventus job

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has hinted that he would be interested in replacing Andrea Pirlo as Juventus head coach.

Pirlo is under pressure following a poor campaign that has seen Juve exit the Champions League early and fall to fifth in the Serie A standings.

Zidane's future as Madrid manager is also rather uncertain, with the 48-year-old reportedly relying on the Champions League to keep him in a job.

The Frenchman played for Juve for five years until 2001 and has been touted as a candidate to replace Pirlo at the end of the campaign.

Asked by Sky Sport Italia if he would be tempted by the job, Zidane said: "Italy is always in my heart. Juve has always been important to me.

"I don't know. For now I'm here. Let's see."

Zidane has won 11 trophies across two spells in charge of Madrid, including three European Cups.
