Report: Real Madrid game to decide Miroslav Djukic future

A report claims that Miroslav Djukic could be sacked as Valencia boss if his side lose heavily to Real Madrid next weekend.

Miroslav Djukic could reportedly be sacked as Valencia boss if his side lose to Real Madrid at the Mestalla next weekend.

Djukic's position has been further called into doubt after the 3-0 loss to Atletico Madrid at the weekend left Los Che in ninth position in the La Liga table, 10 points off the top four.

According to Canal Plus, a heavy defeat against Los Blancos next Sunday could force the Valencia board into a decision before the winter break.

Club president Amadeo Salvo and general manager Rufete both failed to comment following the defeat at the Vicente Calderon.
