Real Madrid put six past Bournemouth

Real Madrid have defeated Bournemouth 6-0 in their pre-season friendly match at Dean Court.

It took Los Blancos 22 minutes to take the lead and it was delivered by Cristiano Ronaldo. He had already seen one free kick go close before a second beat Darryl Flahavan.

The Portuguese forward notched his second goal three minutes before half time and then Sami Khedira completed the first-half scoring.

Second-half substitute Gonzalo Higuain bagged Real's fourth two minutes after the restart when he raced onto Alvaro Morata's deflected pass and slotted past Flahavan.

Kaka nearly made it 5-0 on the hour mark, but his thunderous effort came crashing off the crossbar.

However, Angel di Maria did extend their lead in the 71st minute when he slalomed through two challenges and cut inside before firing a low drive into the bottom corner.

Brazilian midfielder Casemiro completed the scoring seven minutes before the end by squeezing a shot past Flahavan from a tight angle.
