Real Madrid travel to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga this weekend buoyant from their late victory over Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Real Madrid face a difficult test against Rayo Vallecano this weekend but Jose Mourinho will hope that his side are rejuvenated following their Champions League win over Manchester City.

The league champions came from behind to snatch three points from the Premier League winners in a thrilling 3-2 win at the Bernabeu.

Mourinho is likely to keep a similar side that clinched the victory over City. However, Sergio Ramos may return in defence after he was left out of the side on Tuesday following an alleged bust-up with the Portuguese coach.

Angel Di Maria, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain are all in contention to start in attack for the Spanish giants.

Meanwhile, Leo Baptista should lead the line for Rayo, with Nicki Bille and Javi Fuego providing support from midfield.
