Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has revealed that he is desperate to win the Club World Cup this month.
Los Blancos will face either Cruz Azul or Western Sydney Wanderers in the semi-finals of the competition on December 16, before hopefully taking part in the final four days later.
"It's a big motivation for me to be able to win a new competition. It'd be special to win it, but it won't be easy. It would be a great end to the year though. We want to be able to lift the trophy and keep winning alongside it," Carvajal wrote on Twitter.
"My preferred opponent? The first game will always be a difficult one, no matter if it's Cruz Azul or Western Sydney."
Real Madrid qualified for the competition by winning the Champions League last season.
