Carlo Ancelotti: 'Angel di Maria is available'

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that Angel di Maria is in his thoughts for tonight's European Super Cup game against Sevilla.

The Argentine has been strongly linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer, with Manchester United believed to lead the race.

However, Ancelotti has claimed that Di Maria is "ready for this game".

"Di Maria's trained well to be ready for this game. This topic [of a possible transfer] doesn't enter the dressing room when he arrives at Valdebebas. When he's here he's focused. We have to wait until 31st August," Ancelotti told reporters at a press conference.

The European tie this evening will take place in Cardiff City's stadium.
