Xabi Alonso reveals love for Real Sociedad

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso reiterates his love for first club Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has insisted that Real Sociedad 'will always be his club'.

The Spanish international, who is currently on international duty ahead of the World Cup, came through the Sociedad academy before moving on to Liverpool in 2004.

However, Alonso has retained his love for his first club and aided suggestions that he will end his career at San Sebastian.

"My club has always been Real Sociedad, the same as my wife, my family. Once I began be interested in football, I started going to Anoeta every Sunday to watch La Real," he told Canal+.

"I'm an adopted madridista really. Madridismo entices you in; the more you experience it and start to understand it."

Alonso signed a new deal with Madrid towards the end of last season.
