Real Madrid will endeavour to end a run of two successive defeats when they return to the Santiago Bernabeu to host Rayo Vallecano in Wednesday's La Liga contest.

During the dying embers of Sunday's defeat to Valencia, Vinicius Junior alleged that he was subjected to racist chants from the Mestalla crowd, and he raised his arm into the face of Hugo Duro during a large-scale melee. Following a VAR review, the Brazilian was given a straight red card, and he will serve a two-game ban as a result.
