Team News: Gareth Bale returns for Real Madrid

Gareth Bale returns to the Real Madrid starting lineup for this evening's Champions League semi-final first leg against Juventus.

Gareth Bale has returned to the Real Madrid starting lineup for tonight's Champions League semi-final first leg against Juventus in Turin.

The Welshman made his return from injury as a substitute during Saturday's 3-2 win over Sevilla, and has been deemed fit enough to start by Carlo Ancelotti for the first time in almost three weeks.

He starts up front ahead of quarter-final hero Javier Hernandez and alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, while further back Sergio Ramos is once again named in central midfield as Ancelotti makes just one change.

Juventus, meanwhile, make four changes to their starting lineup as Andrea Pirlo, Giorgio Chiellini, Patrice Evra and Alvaro Morata return.

Morata plays against his former club alongside Carlos Tevez, while experienced playmaker Pirlo is expected to anchor a midfield diamond having been rested at the weekend.

Juventus: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Chiellini, Bonucci, Evra; Pirlo, Marchisio, Sturaro, Vidal; Morata, Tevez
Subs: Storari, Barzagli, Padoin, Pepe, Pereyra, Llorente, Matri

Real Madrid: Casillas; Carvajal, Varane, Pepe, Marcelo; Isco, Kroos, Ramos, James; Bale, Ronaldo
Subs: Navas, Coentrao, Hernandez, Lucas Silva, Arbeloa, Jese, Illarramendi
