Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has claimed that his side are "very motivated" to make the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Los Blancos will welcome Atletico Madrid to the Vicente Calderon for the second leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday, with the tie currently level at 0-0.
The hosts will be without a number of key players for the match, but Kroos is not looking for excuses.
"We're very motivated. We managed a pretty good result in the first leg and now we want to go through. It's true that it doesn't help to have so many injuries but complaining about it won't do any good. We are going to do the best we can and we hope we'll reach the next round," AS quotes the German international as saying.
Real Madrid have not yet beaten Atletico Madrid in seven meetings this season.
