Karim Benzema has reportedly apologised to Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Junior for his comments during the interval of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Frenchman was allegedly caught on camera telling Ferland Mendy not to pass to Vinicius during the second half of the European fixture, accusing the youngster of "playing against" Zinedine Zidane's team.
However, according to Marca, Benzema approached Vinicius at Madrid's training ground to address the issue and has apologised for his comments which came in the heat of the moment.
The report claims that the two players have now come to an understanding and are prepared to maintain a working relationship as Los Blancos go in search of more silverware this season.
Vinicius has scored three times in seven appearances for Zidane's team this term, while Benzema has managed two goals in eight outings in all competitions.
