Reading's Brian McDermott, Adam Le Fondre scoop monthly awards

The Premier League's monthly awards for January have been claimed by Reading's Brian McDermott and Adam Le Fondre.

McDermott has taken the manager's prize after he guided the Royals to two victories from their four outings last month.

They also claimed a late 2-2 draw against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

Meanwhile, despite having started most matches on the bench, Le Fondre found the net on five occasions during those four encounters.
