Half-Time Report: Nothing to separate Reading, Swansea at half time at Adams Park

Reading and Swansea City are level at the break in a scoreless pre-season friendly in front of a crowd of just under 1,300 in wet conditions at Adams Park.

The Swans, captained by a returning Leon Britton, monopolised possession early on but were unable to break down a stubborn Royals defence.

Former Royals favourite Gylfi Sigurdsson received a warm welcome from his former club but could not find the target with a 25-yard free kick after 10 minutes.

Reading grew into the game as the half went on, and captain Danny Williams came close when he cut inside and fired wide.

Britton and Williams were both booked in the final seven minutes of the half but the teams went into the interval with nothing to separate them.
