Rangers target Gael Bigirimana loan move?

Rangers have reportedly registered an interest in Newcastle United midfielder Gael Bigirimana.

Bigirimana featured on 28 occasions during the opening two years of his spell at St James' Park, but the 21-year-old has found himself surplus to requirements in the North-East.

According to BBC Sport, Rangers have shown an interest in the former England Under-20 international, and the Glasgow giants are currently considering a loan move until the end of the season.

Mike Ashley linking the two clubs could potentially help a deal be pushed through before the transfer deadline.
