Kenny Miller: 'Rangers can beat anyone'

Veteran Rangers striker Kenny Miller believes that his side can defeat any opposition after winning 11 matches in a row, ahead of their League Cup tie with St Johnstone.

Veteran Rangers striker Kenny Miller has suggested that his side are ready to take on any opposition after winning 11 games in a row.

The 35-year-old, who rejoined the Glasgow side in 2014 after leaving the Vancouver Whitecaps, insists that his team has the confidence to defeat Premiership outfit St Johnstone in the League Cup tomorrow night.

"We've been talking about statements every week when we come to places like Dumbarton, Alloa and Hibs at the start of the season," Miller told The Herald.

"Winning 11 games in a row is a big statement. Tuesday night is a chance to show we are ready for any opposition that we are going to get in the cups.

"It's a game we are looking forward to and there is nothing on our mind apart from being firmly focused to go out and win the game."

Miller has scored 70 goals in 179 appearances for the club.
