Nicolas Anelka could be in line for a return to the Premier League following his spat with a Shanghai Shenhua fan.
Reports have suggested that Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United are ready to pounce, with The Metro reporting that Shenhua are willing to accept £5m for the frustrated Frenchman.
Last weekend, Anelka refused to bow in appreciation of the supporters following the team's 1-0 loss to bottom-of-the-table side Qingdao Jonoon.
That sparked an angry reaction from a fan, who burst into the team's dressing room before confronting the 33-year-old once again as he boarded the team bus.
Anelka, who moved to Shanghai in December, may be reprimanded for his part in the altercation.
