Redknapp: "No chance" of signing Johnson

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has dismissed reports linking him with a move for Glen Johnson.

Speculation had suggested that with just 12 months left to run on his deal at Liverpool, the former Chelsea full-back could be tempted back to London by Redknapp.

However, when asked about that rumour by Sky Sports News, Redknapp responded: "Glen Johnson? No chance. Glen plays for Liverpool and he's not going to leave Liverpool."

Johnson, 29, is a part of the England squad that will compete at this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
