Harry Redknapp expects Loic Remy to leave Queens Park Rangers

Redknapp expects Remy exit

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp believes that striker Loic Remy will leave the club in the summer.

The Frenchman has spent the season on loan at Newcastle United following QPR's relegation to the Championship at the end of last term.

Redknapp, whose team currently sits fourth in the table, believes that a number of teams will try to trigger Remy's £10m release clause.

"Remy wants to play Champions League football next season, so they tell me," the Fulham Chronicle quotes Redknapp as saying.

"The chances of us keeping him are not great if he's got a buy-out clause. He's done well at Newcastle, and one or two other big clubs are trying to get him, so there's every chance he will go."

Remy has scored 13 goals in all competitions so far this season.
