Harry Redknapp: 'Samba Diakhate will get his chance'

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp tells out-of-favour midfielder Samba Diakhate that he is still part of his plans.

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has reassured Samba Diakhate that he is still part of his plans at Loftus Road.

The 24-year-old midfielder has only featured once for the club this season, but Redknapp has told the powerful midfielder that he will "get his opportunity".

"He's here training but hasn't got into the side," he told Sky Sports News.

"He'll get his opportunity I'm sure. He has been working hard and has shown a good attitude this year, so it's up to him."

Diakhate had previously been linked with a move to Stoke City.
