Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he has not registered an interest in West Ham United forward Carlton Cole.
Cole had been linked with a move to Loftus Road after Redknapp spoke highly of the striker, but the Hoops boss has insisted that the 30-year-old will not be moving to the Championship.
The former Hammers boss told reporters: "He belongs to West Ham, so as far as I am concerned, he is a West Ham player.
"We've had no contact with Carlton Cole's agent or with Sam Allardyce or with anyone at West Ham.
"I was asked a question about whether I liked Carlton Cole, and I said that he was a good player, but that was it."
West Ham chief Sam Allardyce revealed earlier on Friday that the club are hoping to agree a new contract with the former England international.
