Heidar Helguson to sign QPR extension

QPR striker to pen new deal

Heidar Helguson is expected to put pen to paper on a fresh deal at Queens Park Rangers.

The 34-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer, will be offered a new 12-month contract from the West London side, according to the Daily Mail.

The Iceland international is currently Rangers' top scorer, netting six goals in the Premier League.

The frontman signed for the London club in 2009.
