Queens Park Rangers 'turn down Palermo approach for Alejandro Faurlin'

QPR 'reject approach for Faurlin'

Queens Park Rangers have reportedly halted Palermo's advances to try to sign midfielder Alejandro Faurlin.

The 26-year-old spent a lengthy period on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament last season but has since returned to the side, who are struggling at the bottom of the Premier League table.

It is understood that Italian outfit Palermo have approached the club with the offer of taking Faurlin on loan for the rest of the season but QPR have rejected their approach, according to Sky Sports News.

Faurlin has been playing at Loftus Road since 2009.
