Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes is reportedly preparing to offload club captain Joey Barton.
The controversial midfielder is not part of Hughes's long-term plans, according to The Mirror.
The 29-year-old was signed by previous boss Neil Warnock on a free transfer over the summer.
Barton is suspended for Rangers' trip to former club Newcastle United on Sunday after his recent sending off against Norwich City.
