Five QPR players in contract talks?

Queens Park Rangers are believed to be in contract negotiations with five players whose deals have expired.

Bobby Zamora, who scored the late winner in the Championship playoff final as Rangers secured an immediate return to the Premier League, is one of the quintet.

Sky Sports News claims that the Hoops are also hoping to keep former England goalkeeper Robert Green, Gary O'Neil, Armand Traore and Alejandro Faurlin for their upcoming campaign in the top flight.

However, Stephane Mbia, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla, Luke Young, Hogan Ephraim, Angelo Balanta have all been released, as has forward Andy Johnson after two years at Loftus Road.

Seven loanees, including Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Ravel Morrison and Niko Kranjcar, have returned to their parent clubs.
