Max Ehmer signs on at Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers defender Max Ehmer has signed a new four-year contract with the Premier League club.

The 20-year-old, who joined the club nine years ago, has admitted his delight at the deal.

"This summer has been my first proper involvement with the first team and I've enjoyed every moment. I've been in and around the first team over the last few years and now I want to step that up a level," he told the club's official website.

QPR open their Premier League campaign against Swansea City on Saturday.
