Joey Barton is confident that Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp will replenish the squad in the January transfer window.
Rangers beat Burnley 2-0 at Loftus Road on Saturday to move out of the Premier League relegation zone by a point.
Redknapp admitted in his pre-match press conference that he would be actively trying to bolster his ranks next month, and Barton has backed the veteran manager to make some shrewd signings.
"I'm sure they'll try to do some business in the window and if anyone has got a great track record at doing that then it's our manager," he told Sky Sports News.
"The squad always needs freshening – it's always good to have new bodies in. The manager and the staff will make the calls on that."
Redknapp's side will now enjoy a nine-day break before travelling to Everton next Monday.
