Rob Green: 'Queens Park Rangers can stay up on last day'

Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Rob Green thinks that the club can stay in the Premier League on the final day of the season.

Rob Green has said that he thinks Queens Park Rangers can stay in the Premier League on the last day of the season.

Green was between the posts when West Ham United ensured their survival on the last day of the 2006-07 season and he hopes to repeat the feat.

"We were in a worse situation at West Ham and stayed up," Green told Get West London.

"We've got to win somewhere where we're written off to give us a chance.

"But the games here [at Loftus Road] against Liverpool and [Manchester] City show what we can do. It's not a forlorn hope."

QPR will travel to fellow relegation battlers Leicester City on the final day of the season.
