Harry Redknapp still "loves" Queens Park Rangers job

Harry Redknapp insists that he still "loves" managing Queens Park Rangers, despite their poor start to the season and a breakdown in contract discussions.

Harry Redknapp has stressed that he still has a "great desire" to manage Queens Park Rangers despite their position at the bottom of the Premier League table.

The 67-year-old has also seen his future at Loftus Road questioned after contract talks broke down, with reports claiming that former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood is being lined up as his replacement.

However, Redknapp maintains a good relationship with Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes and insists that waking up at 4am to travel to London from his Sandbanks home proves that he still "loves" coming to work.

"I love this job and football management. I've got a great desire for the job still," he told reporters.

"I talk to Tony Fernandes every day. I'm having dinner with him tonight. I'm doing my best and he knows that."

Redknapp has claimed that he does not feel under pressure following QPR's poor start to the season.
