Queens Park Rangers Harry Redknapp admits that the club are likely to sell striker Loic Remy should they get relegated from the Premier League.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that they will only be able to keep hold of forward Loic Remy if they remain in the Premier League.

Remy has featured in only seven games since his arrival from Marseille in January, but after scoring five goals during that time, Redknapp believes that he is capable of becoming one of the Premier League's leading strikers.

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss told reporters: "I would have thought it would be hard to hang on to Remy. He was someone we were chasing when I was at Spurs. Every goal he has scored here has been a fantastic goal. He has five goals in seven games.

"Over the season, he would get you 20 goals in the Premier League. And a 20-goal-a-year man is going to be hard to hang on to.

"We have to make sure we stay up if we want to keep him. That's the key, although I haven't discussed it with him or the owners."

QPR are currently seven points away from safety.
