Harry Redknapp hails "big win" for Queens Park Rangers after Burnley victory

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp admits that his side's 2-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League was a "big win" for the London club.

Queens Park Rangers coach Harry Redknapp has labelled his side's 2-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League as a "big win" for the London club.

The Hoops came out of the clash at Loftus Road with all three points despite Charlie Austin's red card, thanks to earlier goals from the dismissed former Clarets striker and midfielder Leroy Fer.

"We have had two vital home games against Leicester and Burnley. We needed to get the six points and we managed to do that," said Redknapp after the game, according to BBC Sport.

"Today was tough. Burnley edged the game in the first half and a couple of good chances. Rob made a couple of vital saves. It was a big win for us.

"Charlie is our main goalscorer. We are relying on Charlie and need one or two others to weigh in with a couple of goals. But it's great to have Charlie getting so many goals for us."

QPR now find themselves in 17th spot in the Premier League table, two points above Burnley.
